There are several types of horses in the world. This doesn't mean only different types of breeds, but also their abilities. Some horses are made to work, some are made to compete and others are just for riding for fun and have as a pet. Mainly anywhere you go, there are several types of horses being used. For example; On Mackinaw Island, the horses are being used for pulling trailers and carriages. There are also horses that are made to be ridden around the Island. It depends on where you go and what type of work the people do around that area and have the horses to just do that job.
